Promotes literacy for adults, youth, and families in Fort St. John and the North Peace region through a range of programs and learning opportunities.
Adult, Youth, and Family Literacy/ Learning Programs:
- Literacy Workshops and Programs
- Homework help program
- One-on-one tutoring for adult, youth, and family
- Tutoring provided for reading, writing, math, English, and more
- Tutoring is 1.5-3 hours per week
- Meetings are scheduled at a location and time that suit both the learner and tutor
ESL Classes: Learn, practice, and improve English in a classroom setting with an instructor. Beginner and intermediate classes are held weekly.
English Conversation Circle: Improve English skills through meaningful conversations while building connections.
