Provides case management services to injured persons to help them manage life as they heal.
Northern Brain Injury Association case management services combine assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation, and support for options and services to best meet client and family needs through communication and assistance to access available resources in order to promote maximum independence, and optimal recovery.
Case managers assist with:
  • Addiction Service Referrals
  • Rebuilding After Brain Injury
  • Issues Of Daily Life
  • Daily Living Skills
  • How To Cope With Stress
  • Establishing Client Goals
  • Employment Referrals
  • Family Support And Education
  • Budgeting
  • Canada Pension Plan Applications
  • Canada Pension Disability Applications
  • Persons With Disability Applications
  • ICBC
  • WCB
  • WorkSafe BC Services
  • Public Guardian & Trustee
  • Various Government Program Applications

Case managers assist with housing issues:
  • Finding Accommodation
  • Rental Applications
  • Liaise With BC Housing, Landlords and Realtors
  • Case managers assist with recreation/social activities
  • Friendships And Relationships
  • Personal Safety And The Safety Of Others
  • Recreational Activities

Case managers assist with transportation:
  • Bus Pass Application
  • Handy-Dart Application
  • ICBC Services
